「残らずの森」
Another release from Kous project with Ef in circle Usagi to Neko ( ウサギトネコ ), i dont know very much but i guess this is the extension works from their first mini-album 入口 (Enterance),
i only know this recently when the vom@s 20 batch is out, but for real man,
when i found out about this im almost ready to blast into a rainbow
rocket.
this single contains 3 song featuring Ef as the vocalist
Track List
- 残らずの森 (Every last forest)
- 輪廻回廊 (Rinne corridor)
- ある日のこと (One day)
i'm always waiting for another kous works with ef, their first collaboration in the song Layering Human Shadows
on kous 1st album really make me fell hard for them. ef voices is
really fit with this kind of atmospheric music, so her collaboration
with kous in usagitoneko is just too dazzling and really a great bliss
for my eargasm bussiness
and
here we go, this is their continuation single, just like their first
album as the cicrle, every song is leaves me with a creepy satisfaction
smile on my face. each composition is well-mixed
with up-beat kous composing style like always, but i guess in this single kous make it more relaxing and easy listening with a light atmosphere, which is good.
unfortunately, as a single can be, it's only contains 3 tracks on it. such a short length for a good music. but im fullfiled, those 3 tracks is just fitting because it was made by usagitoneko and a prove that they're still gonna continuing this project up ahead, that's the most legit things about this single and i'll definitely give 7.8/10 for this.

「7th」
A Kous album release on vom@s 20 - 「7th」, i've been really
expecting this album since the song 故に、おちた理由。got uploaded on NND and
reach the top 3 on vocarank. in this album Kous is finally featuring V3
Gumi in his work, beautifully (thank you based kous). with Gumi
alternate persona illustration made by Hie.
this album contains a seven track featuring Gumi and Miku
Track List :
- 箱庭の悪魔憑き (Demonic possession of miniature garden)
- 昨日の食事 (Yesterday's meal)
- リノイズ (Rinoizu)
- ing
- 故に、おちた理由。(Therefore, the reason to fell)
- その先へ (To its destination)
- 戴きます。(Ittadakimasu)
Kous usually
only use Miku and Luka as his main vocaloid, and yes i must say it again, finally in this
album
Kous is using Gumi (FINALLY!). i already lost
it when my friend show me the link 故に、おちた理由。on NND, this one is just a more bliss to add up, i
just cant get enough of gumi, and kous of course. it still the same kous
up-beat and melancholic style but of course it was different from
usagitoneko style, it just kous being a kous with his atmospheric works.
meanwhile the art and MV is just as awesome as hie, damn he really can
make a good artsy video.
im gonna give it 8/10 for this mini-album because it's the first time kous using gumi and turns out it's a total legit.

I
guess right now i can say Kous is one of my most fav vocaloid-P and
composer (because all of the project collaboration with ef and
another producer such as deco*27, sasakure.uk, and scop), and i
definitely can recomend you for it. He first caught my attention when i
got into his song Camille and finally i stumbled upon his major project with U/M/A/A - Synthetic Flower Laboratory album and fell in love hard, that album really is a blessing in disguise just like that time when i found Treow album and eternally love his works
I
cant really define Kous genre's, maybe the best word to describe his
music is Surrealism. his music is in the borderline of many genre, it's
easy-listening electronica, with ambient, progressive rock, jazz
influences and combination of dizzy-sounding instrumental with up-beat
melodies. They are quirky, and simply different but they're usually
catchy and highly listenable. This is the kind of music that means to
grow on you, when you already used to it, what left is addiction.
**PS : repost from my old blog
have you listened kous' two new albums [8th and 2pentagon]?
ReplyDeletethose two really recommended
i'm just listen to 8th recently and 2pentagon still on my backlog (with all other vom@s 21 album orz), yes indeed, it was super legit, i cant stop loopin the eargasm
Delete2pentagon kinda escaped my radar since it's still not available on mikudb; still haven't gotten my h̶a̶n̶d̶s̶ ears on most of VoM@s 21's releases. T_T
DeleteIndeed, kous' music does sound surreal in a way, which gives an eerie yet pleasant feeling every time one listens to his music. Hoping that he'll manage a breakthrough soon like sasakure.UK with his new band (with marina as the vocalist, oh boy) or DECO*27 with his whole 3rd album getting serialized as a manga.
try taggleburr sir, he already upload it
Deleteactually he already made a breakthrough even b4 sasakure.UK with this usagitoneko and ef as the vocalist, he just keep making vocaloid works as well
